We had another great Saturday youth event today with 12 youth in attendance. Mike taught the group step dancing (see photos attached! NH can you post them?), and Paul led them race training. We actually ran up and down the hill across from WRAP -- twice! The purple team brought a chicken noodle soup (made by one of the moms, not the kids...) and we talked about the nutrition content.
We reviewed the new phone tree set up, so we can give that a try this week with Courtney calling all the team leaders. We've lost the green team leader because he got a job on Saturdays, so next week we'll have to elect a new one. He should still be able to make calls for his group in the meantime. According to the google calendar next week 3/1/14 will include soccer led by Andrew Wilbur and nutrition led by Mark Fusunyan.
