Adult Programs
English Literacy Classes

Most refugees from Burma living in Worcester first arrived with little or no English skills, and they are eager to learn the language for better assimilation and job opportunities. WRAP provides a familiar and comfortable place for families to come to together and attend English classes taught by volunteers. Our classes range from preliterate (those who are illiterate in their own language) to intermediate.
ESL
WRAP offers four adult ESL classes per week:
*Class times are subject to change. Please see the calendar of events to confirm.
- Morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-11am*
- Evening classes are on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm-7:30pm*

Citizenship
Citizenship classes are offered on an individual or small group basis. We strive to provide targeted learning and coaching to help prepare members of the community for the exam and interview process. Most of these classes occur during our evening activities on Mondays and Thursdays.
Elders
WRAP reaches out the elder refugee population with regular outings to provide opportunity for socialization. Each year WRAP's youth honor their elders by presenting gifts during the holidays.
Customized Support
WRAP offers customized one-on-one tutoring for more advanced English learners, job-specific language and computer skills. These are offered as needed and according to tutor availability.
